This thread is locked. Our other netbook - much more modern does not have any incompatibilities highlighted but the upgrade to Windows 10 was unsuccessful as there is no graphics driver for it.
I have the same question. It’s there, but Intel’s site leaves little to be desired. That driver was released back in the old days as an 915gn driver. Thanks for marking this as the answer. If that doesn’t work, nothing will.
So it sounds like either you would need to find a driver someone has modded a long shotreplace the graphics card maybe or just stick with Windows 7. If you require a response, contact support.

Ps - Have a look at this - Windows 10 supports the graphics apparently - but make sure you do lots of backups before winndows. I have the same question As a matter of fact I only realized I couldn’t install the Intel Windows 7 drivers after the fact which was how I came to view these particular posts.
Intel have intdl made an upgraded driver for GM for Windows If you don’t fancy manually installing a driver, I wouldn’t bother trying to upgrade - Windows 7 is supported for another few years and I prefer it in many ways.
